Why human verification matters
Automated transcription is genuinely good at ordinary speech and genuinely unreliable at the things that carry the meaning: drug names, dollar amounts, case citations, proper nouns, and moments when two people talk at once. Those errors do not announce themselves, which is the problem. A reviewer working against the source audio catches them before the document is used.

Common questions
What does human-verified transcription mean?
Files are transcribed by AI. On the human-verified tier a reviewer then checks the transcript line by line against the source audio before delivery; on the AI-only tier the model output is delivered directly, at a lower rate and in minutes. You choose per upload, and the finished document records which mode produced it. AI alone is fast, but its mistakes reach you unreviewed - typically in proper nouns, figures, and overlapping speech.
How much does transcription cost?
Audio is $1.75 per minute on 4-day standard turnaround, $2.50 for 48-hour rush, and $3.50 for 24-hour same day. Video is $2.00, $2.85, and $4.00 per minute for the same tiers, priced above audio because it goes through an extraction step before transcription. Documents are $2.50 per page. Human-verified orders carry a minimum of $25 for audio and documents and $30 for video; AI-only orders have no minimum.
How fast can I get a transcript?
Same-day turnaround delivers within one business day. 48-hour rush delivers within two business days, and 4-day standard within four. You choose the tier per order, so a time-critical file does not force you onto a higher rate for everything.

Do you handle confidential and regulated material?
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is logged, and your material is never used to train models. A Business Associate Agreement is available for work involving protected health information. Where a matter requires a certified transcript or certified local personnel, we work with certified providers licensed in that jurisdiction.
